Recruiters partner with other recruiters, Business Development Managers, customer service associates and others to deliver unmatched engineering, technical and professional staffing solutions.

Typical Recruiter job duties include:

  • Developing recruiting strategies to locate and select qualified applicants
  • Verifying the skills and qualifications of job candidates
  • Overseeing the pre-engagement processes
  • Managing Aerotek's relationship with contractors while on assignment
  • Assessing and investigating contractor problems
  • Negotiating pay rates and other terms with candidates
  • Partnering with business development managers to identify new accounts, target skills, account potential and other business opportunities
  • Communicating with peers by sharing 'best practices' and properly documenting contractor relationship and transactions in various business systems applications
  • Performing other duties as required

Qualified Recruiter candidates must:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree or related sales or recruiting background.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Have a desire to learn and advance in a vibrant sales environment and be capable of regularly using independent judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements.
  • Be familiar with Microsoft Word and MS Outlook (or similar email application)
  • Be currently authorised to work in the UK.
